1. How long will a Weapon-Clear unit last?

We recommend subject to maximum rounds fired into it - the units be refurbished every 10 years.

2. Can the unit be made unsafe?

All Weapon-Clear units are tamper proof - designed from the outset to ensure nothing can be removed from them.

Therefore they cannot be made unsafe.

3. Mounting / Position

The Weapon-Clear range does not need to be fixed in position for use - however if you wish to we recommend it is bolted to a wall (Masonry Wall) or to a bench using suitable bolts.

4. Waterproof and Weather Protection

All Weapon-Clear units (except Air-Clear) are coated in LINE-X which is used on Military vehicles and pickup truck bed liners - it is very durable allows the units to be placed, inside, outdoors and in extreem weather.

5. Operating Temperature

Weapon-Clear units are safe to use in all temperatures from -40 Degrees C (-40 Degrees F) to 50 Degrees C (122 degrees F)

6. Direct Sunlight

The units can be placed in direct sunlight without additional protection

7. Cleaning

Should the units require cleaning we recommend any suitable automotive bodywork cleaning solution - wash with water afterwards and continue to use.

8. Splashback

With the full range of Weapon-Clear models there is no splashback nor fragmentation from rounds fired into the unit.

9. Maximum calibres for the Weapon-Clear range

Vehicle-Clear / Pistol-Clear - all pistol and rifle rounds up to and including .308/300 win mag (7.62 * 51 and 7.62 * 54 R).
